Marucs nods, bowing slightly towards Sofia Rose.

“Ms. Neilsen, welcome to Bartz Blue.”

Sofia Rose blushes her soft purple blush and smiles up at Marcus.

“Nice to meet you, Marcus.”

What the fuck am I thinking? There is no way that I’m going to allow Sofia Rose out of my life. I’ve waited too long for her. I know she’s not human, but I don’t care if we don’t have babes.

Niko pulls her closer to his side, laughing. In that moment, he decides to claim her as his mate. The pressure in his head clears, and his heart starts to sing.

Niko looks down at Sofia Rose, smiling. He releases her and takes her hand in his, lacing their fingers together.

“Let me show you the library. It’s one of my favorite places to be. I don’t have time to spend there nowadays, but when I was young I did spend weeks reading. I’ve read every book in the library. Yes, books that are first editions. I have a feeling that you will love it!”

“Oh my, you’re not joking? First editions? How did you know that I love to read?”

Sofia Rose looks up at him, smiling and holding onto his hand tight as she follows him down the long hallway.

Niko walks down the polished grey granite floor hallway to the hugelibrary. They enter the library and Niko releases her hand to watch her.

“Oh yes, I love it. This library is perfect.”

Sofia Rose walks over to the huge wall and runs her hands admiringly over the old books. She breathes in the smell of the books and turns to look over at Niko.

“You’ve read every book in here?”

“Yes, I have.”

Niko leans against the huge elaborated engraved wooden library door, watching her excitement.

A few minutes pass and Niko observes Sofia Rose pull out a book to scan over the printed words with her slender fingers. She sighs, and closes the book. She carefully slides it back and walks down the wall until another book grabs her attention.

The butler knocks on the door, startling Niko. Niko laughs, shakes his head, opening the door.

“Master, dinner is served.”

“We’ll be there in a few, Marcus.”

Sofia Rose turns and walks over to Niko, sliding her arm into his left arm. She leans in, smiling up at him.

“I love the library, Niko. I pray that someday I can read some of these amazing books.”

Niko looks down at her, falling into her beautiful shimmering violet eyes. He smiles a small sexy smile.

“I believe that you will, Sofia Rose. I can see you here in the libary reading on that white chaise. You will look beautiful on it.”

Sofia Rose’s heart shaped lips turn into a small O and her heart skips a beat.

Niko smiles, amused, and takes her hand. He walks out of the library into the hallway. His eyes glow and the silver specks flash.

“Sofia Rose, I know that you’re going to love the amazing pot roast that Sandy cooked.”

“Oh, that really sounds delicious. I’m sure I will.”

Niko walks into the huge dinning room and walks over to the old family dinning table. The polished warm wood glows. The table can seat sixteen people.

The table is set for only two and down the center of the table are three lighted silver candle holders with dark red candles. At the center of the table there is a crystal vase full of fresh roses in all shades of red.
