“Andrei, I have to meet some fairies. I need to wed one like ASAP!”

Nikolaos drives his BMW down the Blue Ridge mountainside in the middle of the night. The smooth ride cruises down the mountain road, the wheels hug the curves as it turns, and races down the steep hill.

Niko extends his right arm to press the button to turn on the music. His heart is racing, anxious to get all the pending business done to continue on his search for his fairy bride.

The loud rock music blares out of the speakers as he races down the road.

“What the fuck! Niko, you have to give more information. You’re being damn cryptic!”

“Yeah, well, I’m fucking pissed off! I’m anxious and stressed out!”

Niko presses down on the gas pedal and the car lurches forward, reaching the one hundred and twenty MPH. He looks straight ahead, grinding his molars. The jaw muscles flex from the pressure.

“Okay, I’ll give you that! This bank issue is important, but what else is so fucking important,” growls Andrei.

Niko glances over at Andrei, shaking his head.

“Damn it, I have to wed a fairy and get her with my babe within eight weeks. I need to get this bank issue resolved because I don’t have time to waste on it!”

Andrei throws back his head, laughing, and he then turns to look at him, whistling loud. He takes his huge hand and slaps Niko’s shoulder.

“My big bro! I’m so happy it’s you that’s in this crisis and not me! Thank you for being the head of the family!”

Niko glares at Andrei, his light mint green eyes glow and his silver specks flash erratically.

“Fuck you! Help me get the bank business resolved! Believe me, you don’t want me to fuck this up!”

Andrei frowns, looks out the window, and turns to glare at Niko.

“What do you mean? What can happen?”

“Hell, the money will be open to our dear brothers and you know damn well that they’re immature and irresponsible! What worries me is that the money is also what keeps our dear vamps safe at home. Our sisters don’t know how to survive in our realm! They wouldn’t survive here on earth either!”

Andrei nods, and leans back in the chair, grabbing the chair armrest.

“Got it! I’ll help you at the bank. Let’s head over the house. I need a shower! I’m exhausted! I’ve been after your happy ass since Saturday!”

“Right, that’s the plan! Is Prince Ajax still there? I invited him to stay at the house.”

“I called the house to see if you were there. No, Marcus said that he left two weeks ago.”

“We need to determine if it’s the human cybercriminals hacking or if there’s more to it. I know that there’s much more to this because the supernatural banking firewall is not easy to break into. I’m hoping that Alastor can fix it!”

“Yeah. I agree. We need to resolve this. We can’t waste time.”

“Fuck! I’m going to chew out the bank manager’s ass! It’s unacceptable to have this type of issues arise and not be informed immediately. We need to make it real clear to Ms. Nielsen that she is required to contact us immediately and not after a week of chaos with the transactions! She doesn’t know that most of the transactions are from the supernatural accounts!”

“Right.”

Niko pulls up to the gate; he moves his left hand to push the glass button. The door glass rolls down and he turns his face to look at the small black box mounted on the gray brick pillar.

The black glossy granite box, the size of a credit card turns on, and a bright blue laser beam scans Niko’s light mint green eyes. The gate disappears and Niko drives down the road on the property.

He drives down the curves and onto the circular driveway. He turns off the car and opens the car door. He slides his long muscular legs and jumps out. He reaches for the door and slams it closed as he turns around in a hurry to get inside the house.

He takes two steps at a time, anxious to reach the door.
