“Don’t worry, I got this,” he whispers, his eyes darting to the gathered VIPs in the other room.
Tall, dark, with huge, brawny muscles, I’m taken aback by a man so physically perfect. Literally rendered speechless.
“How bad is it?” he asks.
Finding my voice, I say, “Oh, it’s pretty bad,” as I step aside and allow him to enter.
He walks over to the toilet and squints into the bowl. “It doesn’t look like there’s a log in there.”
I slam the door shut and close the distance between us. He turns to look at me, his eyes widening in alarm.
I place one hand on his tattooed chest, drawing my fingernails across the sensitive flesh. The other I bring to his bearded chin, giving it a tug to force his gaze to mine.
“Now…let’s see if you can get my pipe unclogged.”

I twist, feeling a hard surface beneath me.
That’s weird.
The room is completely dark, and not at all like my bedroom. Instead of a huge, down comforter, a knitted blanket covers me.
I sniff and am greeted by what can only be described as gym air. I think back to the night before, trying to remember what the fuck happened.
And then it hits me.
I’ve been kidnapped.
Which makes little sense. My parents might be wealthy, but they don’t have the kind of money that would make someone risk kidnapping charges.
Which could only mean that I’m being sex trafficked.
Voices carry into where I’m being held. Male voices, confirming my suspicion.
If I don’t get out of here right the hell now, I’ll become just another data point in an FBI database.
I’ve watched enough true crime documentaries to know that I need to catch my captors off guard. It’s the only way I’ll be able to get away.
Dread coils in my gut like a snake, but I force myself to remain calm, lest I hasten my fate.
On the count of three, I’m making my escape.

I jolt up, slamming against something hard.
“Owwww! Mother fucker!” I cry, grabbing my forehead as throbbing pain rips through my brain.
