She leads me to a room with a little girl sleeping on a bed, and goes to the fridge to get me bottled water. I take the bottle from her and gulp it fast.
We sit in silence, waiting for Daniel.
Chapter 65
Daniel
Soon as the door closes behind her, I take out my phone and make a call to Bruce.
“Hey,” he answers right away.
“I have the code.”
“Good, give it to me.” I read the code out, so he can access the file and destroy all information that can be used to ruin Emma’s life.
“Now, I want you to send someone to come and get Evan.”
“Why?”
“He listened to Sophie and rough handled Anu.”
“Fuck, I’ll send someone. Tell him to head to the bunkers.”
“Thanks, bro,” I say, hanging up.
I turn to Evan. “Get your ass up and head to the bunkers.”
“I’m sorry, Daniel.”
“If you apologize once more, your punishment will be worse. Get the fuck out!” He gets up and leaves. I turn to Jude.
“Have I ever brought a woman for you?” I ask, unable to hide the anger in my voice
He shakes his head.
“Why then did you believe the lie that bitch told you?” My words vibrate.
“She said the woman couldn’t please you, and you’d said anyone else could have her, and I decided to pay for her,” he says, beads of sweat covering his face.
I return a sad chuckle.
“I can assure you, without a doubt, she’s the only woman that has ever pleased me.”
I turn to Sophie.
“Undress right now!”
She moves back.
“I won’t say it again!” She starts to remove the leather dress; there’s nothing underneath. I happen to know how much she’s repulsed by Jude. He nauseates her, that is why she brought him for Anu.
“Get your ass on the bed and spread your legs.”
She moves slowly. I know she’s afraid right now, but she has pushed my buttons long enough.
I move to the back of the bed and press a button. The board slides up. I take the hand cuffs out and cuff her hands.
“Daniel, please, I just wanted to help her.”
