“I need...” I moan between thrusts, “I need...”

“What, baby?” he asks, his voice strained from the effort to control himself. “You can come now.” He rubs my clit with his thumb in circular motions, and within seconds, I explode.

My eyes close, and everything goes black as my body contorts in spasms from the most powerful orgasm I’ve ever experienced.

Wave after wave of pleasure crashes over me, and I can’t stop. My body craves rest, but the contractions continue as Ryder drills into me, prolonging my pleasure until I think I can no longer take it.

Ryder increases his pace. The sounds of his grunts and hoarse moans are like an aphrodisiac for me. I whimper with each of his thrusts.

He takes longer to come the second time, but when he does, he pulls out and releases onto my belly, striking me with white streaks. His hand works on his long erection, his head thrown back in ecstasy.

“You’ll be the end of me, Little Trouble,” he whispers. “The end of me.”

CORA

We finish eating the beef stew Ryder cooked, having cleaned up after our earlier activities that left both of us starving. The rich aroma of herbs and meat still lingers in the air, mingling with the scent of pine from outside. He worked in the rustic kitchen for two hours, shooing me away every time I tried to help. I lean back in my chair, the worn wood creaking, and pat my stomach.

“I’m so full I might burst. I didn’t know you could cook like this. You’ve been holding out on me, chef.”

Ryder chuckles, his eyes crinkling at the corners. “There’s a lot you don’t know about me. I’m a man of many talents.”

“Oh, really?” I raise an eyebrow. “Care to elaborate on these ‘talents’?”

He leans forward, his voice dropping to a husky whisper. “I’d rather demonstrate. But first, any chance you have room for dessert?”

“Dessert? You made dessert too? Are you trying to fatten me up for something?”

He grins. “I just like giving you pleasure in all its forms.”

I’m stuffed, but there’s no way I’m passing up something else he made for me. “Hit me with it, Gordon Ramsay.”

“New York cheesecake,” he announces, pulling a cake pan from the fridge and presenting it to me. He cuts a slice, but instead of serving it to me, he takes a spoonful.

“Taste,” he says, bringing the spoon to my lips and his eyes zeroing in on my mouth.

The cake melts on my tongue like a cloud, creamy and rich with a hint of vanilla. I moan in delight, perhaps a bit more dramatically than necessary. “This is divine. Where did you learn to make this?”

“My mom,” he says, a flicker of sadness crossing his face. “It was her specialty.”

I reach out and squeeze his hand. “She’d be proud. It’s incredible.”

He offers me another bite, his eyes darkening as he watches me lick the spoon clean. “You keep making those noises, and we might not make it to the tour of the forest I promised you.”

I smile, patting my stomach again. “That’s it. I can’t eat another bite. If you give me more, you’ll have to scrape me off the floor.” I sigh, looking around the cozy cabin. “Speaking of tours, how about showing me around this secret lair of yours?”

Ryder gestures around the open-plan living area. “You can see it all from here. It’s a small place. What’s there to tour? This isn’t exactly a mansion, princess.”

“Don’t ‘princess’ me, mister,” I retort, my eyes landing on a door at the back of the cabin. “What’s in there? Is that where you hide the bodies?”

He laughs, a low, throaty sound that sends a shiver throughme. “No, that’s the garage. I hide the bodies in the freezer, remember?”

I roll my eyes. “Hilarious. If you have a garage, why did you park outside?”

“Because the garage is full.”

My eyes widen, darting between Ryder and the closed garage door. I lean forward in my chair, fingers drumming against the table. “Occupied with what? Your secret superhero vehicle?”
