“We’re here,” Ryan said.

“Every step of the way,” Luka concluded.

We headed toward the double doors leading outside, pushing them open and taking in the fresh air.

“I’m done being a pushover,” I said. “And I’m done caring what people think about this. About us.” I turned around, looking at all three of them.

Three beautiful, courageous, extraordinary men. All of whom loved me. All of whom were there for me, every step of the way.

“I love you,” I said.

The boys looked between each other.

“I love all of you,” I said. “I’m not going to choose between you.”

They didn’t say anything, but they listened, and that was what I needed from them right now.

“Maybe it’s selfish to expect you three to share me, and maybe it’s extravagant and overly indulgent to have you three all to myself. But I know you all make me happy, in different ways that complement each other beautifully inside my heart. There’s no way I can choose between three parts of a whole. Something would always be missing.”

“I can’t speak for Jaeson or Riot,” Luka said, looking to the other two, nodding, “But I accept that. My love for you doesn’t change because of it.”

“Neither does mine,” Jaeson said. “You’re it for me. You’re my girl. You’re the one I want by my side. I might get jealous from time to time, but that’s for me to work on.”

I looked to Ryan. He was quiet.

“Ryan?” I said. “Are you all right?”

“I didn’t expect you to say it,” he said.

“Say what?” I asked.

“That you love me,” he replied.

I opened my arms and took him in for a hug. The other two joined us, and we stood outside in the fresh air, holding each other, being with one another.

“I wouldn’t have this any other way,” I said.

One kiss for Luka. One kiss for Jaeson. One kiss for Ryan.

My boys.
