Thank goodness Marcus didn’t take my faux pas for ignorance.I knew better than to generalize.I sat back and listened.
“I want all of you to know we have three others listening in today.The R&D department head, the technology department head, and one of his contractors.”Cassie raised her hand, palm out.“Before you ask, they’re here because we’re developing a new app that our focus groups have been asking for.”
“That’s cool,” one woman said.
“This will be fun,” a man commented.
“Okay.Let’s get started.”Cassie held up a toy.“Comments?”
I studied the toy.It looked like a normal vibrator to me.

I smiled.“Diversity.By that, I mean not only making sure there are things for gender identity and orientation but also for those with disabilities.The app needs to be user friendly with that group as well.”
“I’ll check with Marcus; I’m sure he has some ideas.”
“Good.I’m going to start working on new code.R&D is getting a major upgrade.”I turned to my computer and got to work.I was excited to be on the ground floor of this.
