I barge into Tyler’s room, nearly unable to contain my excitement. Ty’s just pulling an olive green V-neck shirt over his head. “You ready yet?”

Ty rolls his eyes as he pulls on his jeans. “Almost.”

“Hey, no eye rolls.”

“Well, if you’d tell me where we’re going.”

“You’ll find out soon enough.”

Tyler puts his glasses on then his shoes. After shoving his wallet into his back pocket, he grabs his cell phone from the charger and starts to walk past me. I grab his arm and pull him to me, stealing a passionate kiss.

“Aww, you two are so sweet.”

I blush a little at my stepmom’s comment, releasing Ty’s lips. Ty just smirks.

It still feels a little weird to me being openly affectionate with my stepbrother even though our parents are full-on accepting of us. Lydia’s even started wedding planning and my dad’s already spread the news of our engagement around at work. It’s crazy how fast things seem to be happening now.

I’m just as guilty, though. It’s been just a couple weeks, but while Tyler’s been finishing up with school and preparing for graduation, I’ve been secretly house hunting. That’s where I’m dragging him off to today. To meet the realtor Lydia set me up with. I’ve narrowed the choices down to five. I’ve got my heart set on one in particular, hoping Ty agrees with me, but wanted to make sure I gave him some options just in case.

“Hey, next Saturday, after the graduation ceremony, we’re planning a barbecue to celebrate, so don’t make plans,” Lydia says.

“I figured as much. We’ll be here.” I clutch Tyler’s hand. “We’d better go so we’re not late.”

“Alright. You two have fun.”

“Back later, Mom,” Tyler says as I drag him down the stairs.

I open the passenger car door for him and kiss him. What I intend to be a quick peck turns into a soft, slow, passionate caress of lips and tongues. My dick hardens. I can’t seem to get enough of him. We made love in bed this morning after I woke up to Ty’s lips wrapped around my cock, and already I’m craving him again.

At least we’re not as bad as we were the first few days or so after I proposed. I swear, we fucked like rabbits. It wasn’t until the third or fourth day, maybe, that my dick stopped swelling up inside him and we had to go back to using lube again. I still haven’t figured out what that was all about, but I certainly wouldn’t mind it happening again either. Sex is still awesome, but the orgasms aren’t nearly as intense as they were those few days.

“Alex, stop,” Ty mumbles. “You’re gonna make me hard again.”

I ease away from his lips. “We’ll finish this later.”

“Better,” he smirks. God, I fucking love him.

My hard-on subsides by the time I pull up to the first house—a craftsman-style bungalow.

A slightly older woman who I presume is Rachel, the realtor I’ve been exchanging emails with and speaking with over the phone, steps out of a red Buick crossover as Ty and I climb out of my car.

As I come around the car, Tyler crosses his arms over his chest and arches a single brow, his mouth twisted into a slight grin. “How long have you been shopping for houses?”

I shrug and roll my eyes upward, tossing my head from side to side. “Couple weeks?”

“Shouldn’t we at least wait until I have a job?”

“Not worried about that. I know you’ll nail a good one, but that aside, I already have some savings and Dad and Lydia are helping with the down payment. I’ve worked the numbers and even on my salary alone, all five we’re going to look at today we can afford.”

“You’re really serious about this?”

“I’m serious about us.” I lean in for a short kiss, linking my hand with his. “Come on.”

We approach Rachel where she patiently stands at the end of the concrete pathway that leads to the front door. She greets us with a genuine smile as she extends her hand. I reach out to shake it.

“Hi, Alex, I presume.” She waits for my confirmation nod before continuing. “I’m Rachel.”
