“Hmm?” Reginald opened his eyes. With one lazy hand, he stroked her sable curls, a bemused expression on his face.

“I bound you.” Layla breathed.

“I know.” He spoke with a secretive, pleased curl of his lips. “I wanted you to.”

But before Layla could ask questions, he shifted gently, rolling her down to the coverlet. Coming atop her again, Reginald eased his body against hers once more. The sensation of his pearl-smooth skin sliding over hers made Layla arch. Everything felt heightened in her post-Bind ecstasy. Skin had never felt so good as he moved her, sculpting her to his slow, regal waves and making her writhe against him. It was cool and clean and erotic, and Layla’s breath caught as he slipped his hand over her hips; pulling her close so she could feel the press of him growing hard once more.

She squirmed against it and he smiled;thatsmile. Dominant pleasure shone from his eyes as he slid his phallus between her thighs but not inside her; rubbing her gently between the legs as she shuddered with pleasure. His lips came to her neck, kissing her softly beneath her curls, and Layla spasmed against him – her body too pleasured to resist his power.

“Please,” she breathed as he continued to kiss her, sliding himself against her, a slick sweetness between her thighs. “Please,Sivvir…”

“Please what?” He whispered at her neck with a cruel little smile. “Please stop… or please continue?”

A small sound left Layla’s mouth, as she found herself unable to decide which was worse and which was better. But Reginald enjoyed her heady torment, chuckling by her ear as he pinned her by her hips, still sliding himself against her gently. Layla’s whole body surged, her breath fast once more. Curls of etheric golden fire manifested around the bed, and Layla knew the Dragon inside her was far from finished. Stirring, it opened its big golden eyes. Its coils writhed inside her with a sinuousness that made Layla’s body move with a serpentine undulation on the bed, needful.

Through her heightening arousal, Reginald held himself contained, still sliding against her slow and sweet. With the skills of a man who had controlled his passions so thoroughly over the centuries that he could do anything with his body now, he controlled their dance, even though Layla controlled their Bind. As she surged beneath him with all the need of the darkest ocean, he watched her, holding her back from cresting – to his utterly dominant delight.

“What is your truth, Layla Price?” Reginald murmured as he moved her. “Do we continue our pleasure this morning… long into the night perhaps?”

“Yes!” Layla whispered, trembling hard with need. “Please, Reginald! Please,Sivvir. My Partner…”

“My Bind.”

Sliding his arms around her, Reginald brought her up, kissing her as he sat her in his lap facing him. Layla was weightless in his arms as he settled her legs around his hips. Pulling her back gently by wrapping one fist in her hair, he lifted her up with his other arm tight around her waist.

And then he slid her down – deep upon himself.

Commanding their lovemaking with his hand wound up into her curls, fucking her sweet and slow, Reginald controlled Layla’s passion like the deepest currents of the ocean. And when she crested into orgasm again in a wave of glory, he crushed her to his chest and to his lips with strong arms.

Devouring her screams with his Siren’s kiss as he devoured her power through their Bind.

CHAPTER 26 – GAME

Layla was affixing Reginald’s pearl and diamond earrings in place at her bathroom mirror, when she heard a knock on her apartment door. Dressed in an expensive stretchy silk royal blue cocktail dress tonight, Layla moved out of the bathroom. Lifting a hand to the diamond and pearl-encrusted sweetheart bodice of the sexy, short gown with its long close-fitted sleeves, she adjusted the bodice, then slid her hand down to straighten the hem at her mid-thigh. Checking Reginald’s pearl bracelet at her wrist, she set a hand to the door to admit Dusk, here to escort her to the Owner’s Ball tonight.

But instead, it was Adrian standing there when she opened the door – tall and perfect as he gazed down at her.

“Hi, sexy.” Adrian breathed, a pleased smile curling his beautiful lips. He was stunning tonight in a white tux with royal blue satin lapels, wearing the collar open as was his way. Rakish and elegant, Adrian’s thick hair was sexily styled, no stubble on his angular jaw tonight as he stood before her with graceful nonchalance, his hands shoved casually in his pants pockets. Diamond and pearl cufflinks flashed at his French cuffs, his Mediterranean eyes a vivid blue-green as he smiled down at her, arresting with his high cheekbones and straight dark brows.

“Adrian!” Layla didn’t even know she’d moved until she was in his arms, kissing him. Holding her close, he kissed her back, passionate and reckless. Everything fell away as they reveled in each other; as their Dragons coiled together in a fire-bright dance. Layla’s hand was behind Adrian’s neck, pulling him into her as etheric golden flames burst through the air around them. When Adrian at last pulled away, it was with a breathless laugh, his Mediterranean-blue eyes on fire with gold.

“Someone’s glad to see me!”

“You have no idea.” Layla curled into his arms, holding him tight. Inhaling his cinnamon-jasmine musk, she let his desert heat surround her. Being with Dusk was a deep pleasure, being with Reginald had been a dark joy, but being with Adrian was like coming home. He had her scent, he had her fire – in so many ways, they were the same. Breathing him in, Layla gripped him tight and he chuckled, kissing her temple as he ran his hands deliciously over her bare spine.

“May I come in?” He chuckled. “Or are we just going to stand in your doorway making out all night?”

“Tempting,” Layla grinned up at him, “but come on in.”

Layla stepped back with a smile, admitting Adrian to her apartment. Her Dragon still roiled with pleasure, curls of golden fire moving through the air as he shut the door behind them. Lifting a straight dark eyebrow, Adrian ran one hand through that golden flame.

“You’ve gotten better control of your magic since you bound Reginald two days ago.”

A sharp spike of fear made the curls of flame around Layla snuff out. She’d not had a chance to speak with Adrian about that yet, though she and Dusk had discussed it. Although not surprised it had happened, Dusk had been wary of her Bind to Reginald. But Adrian seemed surprisingly calm facing the truth tonight, and Layla blinked, having expected him to be unhinged.

But as she watched him, a wry smile lifted his lips. “You thought I would be mad.”

“Aren’t you?” Layla blinked, still surprised. “I mean… you were furious when I bound Dusk back in October.”
