“Well, there’s just one thing. I don’t want you to be worried about me. I want you to be able to go wild and take me, knowing I’m okay.”
“But—”
“Let me finish. I think we need a safe word. Not that I expect we’ll need it, but it’s a good idea to have one.”
Valin stared at her with a confused look in his eye. “A safe word?”
“Ah. Not a Dohrag thing, clearly. I should have realized that. A safe word is something I’ll say if I want you to stop. Something I would not say otherwise. That way you’ll know that unless I say that particular thing, you don’t have to stop. In fact, it’ll be even hotter when you don’t. You overwhelm me, but in the best possible way, and I think this could help us take it even further.”
“Hmm. So, what, then, is your safe word?”
“I hadn’t actually planned that far ahead. Um, hang on.” She searched her thoughts for something she’d never, ever blurt out during sex. Something she’d probably never say on this alien world. “Got it. My safe word isNixon.”
“What is a Nixon?”
“Something I’d never think of during sex, that’s for sure.”
“Very well. I understand the arrangement. Unless you say this word, I will not relent.”
The look in his eye and the bulge growing in his trousers made it very clear he was going to put that to the test, and sooner than later. But first they needed to set up a new campsite and preparetheir lunch. Then they could get busy to their hearts’ content. And that they did, with great enthusiasm.
“Valin?” she said quietly, her head resting on his chest, basking in the afterglow that evening after they’d fucked each other senseless following dinner. “Do you think it would be okay if we took our time getting to the Oraku? I’m really enjoying what we’ve got going on out here.”
He kissed the top of her head tenderly. “I was thinking the same thing.”
Shalia slid up his body and softly pressed her lips to his. Both of their Infalas were faintly glowing, their union charging the runes, as it always did, the markings now almost identical. Soon they would be a bonded pair, bound together for the rest of their days.
She looked down at his semi-erect cock laying across his belly, well-used but always up for more. The pearl-like bumps had started vibrating more when he was inside her of late. Part of their bonding, he explained. An intensifying of sorts. That seemed understandable enough. What was odd to both of them, however, was how the runes tattooed on his shaft as a form of pleasure-reducing torment when he was just a boy had changed as well.
They were no longer obstructing his sensations, that was clear. But more than that, they had started glowing more and more as they grew closer to their completed bond, and when they made love, the faint sensation inside her was almost indescribable. Just a tickle of something new on the horizon. Something different. Something intense. And Shalia was sure that finding out what it would eventually become was going to be a whole lot of fun.
The pair had traveled far on foot, putting a lot of distance between themselves and the Dohrag camp. Whatever the admiral might wind up doing, they were as safe as they could be, just two little heat signatures on the surface of a vast planet. Without knowing where they were, they would be untraceable from space.
As a result, they settled into a comfortable existence on this impromptu camping expedition. They had started out on amission, covering a lot of miles as fast as they could. But now they enjoyed staying in place for a few days before moving to the next campsite. Best of all, on non-hiking days they spent most of their time naked and in a state of near-constant arousal, taking their pleasure from one another repeatedly throughout the day.
It was as close to perfect as Shalia could imagine. If one was aroused, the other felt it, and with their safe word in place, Valin had no problem pushing her to her limits at times. He was so powerful. So dominating. She was completely at his mercy, and it made her orgasms even stronger than she’d ever imagined possible, giving herself completely to the moment without thought or worry.
The icing on that very sexy cake was the eagerness with which her lover studied her, always attentive, always wanting to discover new ways to bring her pleasure. He was getting so good at it that she’d blacked out completely on several occasions, waking to find him holding her close, keeping her safe in his arms until she roused, then fucking her right into yet another series of body-shaking orgasms, sending her over the edge again and again.
Days passed in a delightful blur, the two reveling in one another as their Infalas grew closer to their final forms. Shalia shared stories about life on Earth, teaching him all about her home world even if they’d likely never make it there. And Valin opened up to her as well, telling her all about his life, his upbringing, his wishes and dreams. Dreams he’d never dared hope might one day become reality. But here he was, holding all he ever wanted in his arms.
“I love you, Shalia,” he said as they drifted off to sleep. “With all my heart, with all my soul, I am yours forever. I only hope I am able to provide you the best life possible.”
She nestled her face in the comfortable spot against his neck and breathed in his intoxicating scent, the glowing heat of their love keeping her warm as night settled in.
“We’re going to make this work,” she whispered. “Whatever it takes.”

The following day the lovers packed up and set off on foot, moving slowly but continuing their gradual trek toward the Oraku village. They had a destination in mind and a general path to reach it. As for their pace, a sense of urgency was distinctly lacking. They would get there when they got there, taking their time and reveling in one another as they spent each glorious day together.
Valin was having a wonderful go of it, stopping repeatedly throughout the morning whenever they came upon an interesting spot or unusual situation. He was teaching Shalia the many survival skills he’d acquired over the years, and she was absorbing the knowledge like a sponge. She had become proficient in snare fishing as well as basic small animal trap making. She’d learned to make fire from items on-hand, though Valin could have just used the charge from his weapons if he really needed to.
Those, however, he kept powered off and out of the way. It was safe enough given their situation. With the silence of their surroundings, they would hear a Dohrag craft if it flew overhead well before it could spot them, giving them plenty of time to either make a run for it or prepare for a fight.
But it had slipped both their minds that there were other threats besides Dohrags out there.
The Raxxians burst from their hiding places in unison. There were three of the scaly green beasts, and though they had clearly seen better days, they were more than ready for a fight. This was one of the escaped livestock they’d lost when their ship had gone down, and they were going to get her back. That there was an unattended Dohrag half-breed with her was just icing on the cake.
