“My,” he rasps, breaking the kiss with a wicked grin. “Someone woke up horny today.”

“Well, we have unfinished business from last night.” I trail the tip of my finger over his hard pecs, pinching his nipple until he sucks in a sharp breath.

“You remember?” His eyes darken.

“It’s all I’ve been able to think about.”

I gasp as he bites my lip with a growl. He draws an ear-splitting whimper from me when his palms slide under the t-shirt to finger my nipples, playing with them in the exact way he knows will make me lose my shit.

“But I don’t think this is entirely professional,” I pant, breath catching. “I don’t think my new boss would approve.”

“I think your boss would say I have my priorities straight,” he smirks. “But, of course, this has nothing to do with you securing the deal.”

I rip my t-shirt over my head, leaning into him, my nipples tightening against his smooth chest.

“Fuck’s sake, Violet,” he croaks, catching a nipple between his teeth. “Now you’re just playing dirty. If you carry on like that, I’ll buy the entire fucking company from him just so you’ll never leave me again.”

“I won’t leave you again,” I cry out as he sucks a nipple into his mouth, curling a finger deep inside me. My body clenches around him, already so close.

“Fuck Chase, if you keep doing that, I’m going to come.”

“That’s the idea, baby.”

“But I want you.”

“Oh, you’re about to get me any damn way you want, Violet—for the rest of the day and night,” he growls, his hands roaming possessively over my body. “But first—” he flashes a teasing grin, “—you said we had unfinished business, so....”

Before I have time to blink, he lifts me effortlessly, his strong hands locking under my thighs, hooking my legs around his waist. He smiles into my mouth, his lips crashing down on mine as he carries me down the hallway, kicking open the bathroom door with a decisive thud before he sets me down to fill the tub.

Steam begins to rise, moisture coating our skin as he moves in front of me, drawing me closer. His hands slide up my thighs, circling my waist, every brush of skin leaving delicious tingles in its wake. He’s barely touched me, but already I’m panting, dizzy with anticipation as his lips feather mine, tormenting me with light strokes of his tongue. A soft sigh escapes me as his thumb trails along my cheekbone before he slides it inside my mouth, spreading the moisture, coaxing my lips apart.

“Do you have any idea how much I love you, Violet?” he says, voice hoarse with emotion. “God, I think even a small part of me already knew the second I first laid eyes on you.” He fists my hair, pulling my head back, his lips claiming mine all over again.

A burst of heat courses through me when he slides out of his shorts, his thick cock swelling, pulsing against my thighs.

Steam swirls around us, thick and heady, as he settles into the hot water, pulling me into a straddle, kissing my shoulder, guiding me down onto him, moving with slow, fluid strokes that leave me gasping. His soft groans vibrate through me as the tension builds. The way he grips my hips, the relentless drag of his tongue—it’s all too much. My breaths come quick, hips rolling, chasing every rough grind.

The first orgasm hits hard, like a shock of electric surging through my spine. But he doesn’t let up. Water spills over the edge of the bath as he quickens his pace, driving deep through the climax. His thumb finds my clit, circling mercilessly. “Chase—oh god—” My voice breaks apart as I come again, this time so hard I don’t just see stars but a whole damn galaxy.

Before I’ve even floated back down to earth, he wraps me in a towel and gathers me into his arms, carrying me to the bedroom.

He lays me out across his silk sheets like something precious, drying me with soft strokes, my body so sensitive I whimper with every touch. His body crawls over mine, the weight of him deliciously heavy as he presses me into the bed. His mouth brushes mine, then trails down my throat as he enters me with a deep thrust.

At first, it’s frantic. A hard, desperate rhythm. The headboard slams against the wall with every thrust of his hips, every ragged breath torn from his throat. But then my eyes find his—and something in him shifts. The edge fades, replaced by something deeper. Something tender. He cups my face as he moves inside me, his hands everywhere, caressing every inch. His eyes worship mine as he comes inside me, kissing me softly, murmuring, ‘I love you.’

The day blurs after that.

He makes love to me over and over; the world reduced to silk sheets, tangled limbs, and the low rasp of our laughter in between. We pause only for food—barely—before he’s on me again, insatiable, hungry in the quietest, most reverent way.

Later, twisted in the sheets, the light outside fading, he brushes my hair from my shoulders, his fingertips trailing lazy circles across my skin. I finger the chain around his neck as the urge to sleep overcomes me.

“There’s just one problem, Violet,” he says, low and thoughtful.

I open one eye with effort. “You mean, apart from the fact that you’ve drained every ounce of energy from my body?”

He chuckles, shaking his head. “You live in London.”

“Mmm hmm,” I say, my voice drowsy. “I do.”
