“Both,” he murmured, before lowering his head to capture my lips.
Don kissed me with slow, thorough precision that made my knees weak. His hands spanned my waist, easily lifting me until my legs wrapped around him and we were at eye level.
When we broke apart, I was breathless and dizzy. Before I could recover, Vix was there, guiding me with his fingers on my chin.
“Fuck, yes,” he growled, before claiming my mouth in a kiss that was pure fire. He was all passion and demand, his hands tangling in my hair.
When we broke apart, I was panting, my body thrumming with need. I turned my head in the other direction to find Blitz watching me.
“Blitz,” I whispered, holding out my hand.
He was on me in an instant, his kiss playful but no lessintense, nipping at my lower lip before soothing it with his tongue. By the time he pulled away, I was trembling.
It felt too hot even with the ice walls surrounding us. A small part of me wondered if it would collapse, but I quickly banished the thought.
“This isn’t exactly the most comfortable place for what I think we’re all considering,” Pierce observed, his voice rough.
Blitz snapped his fingers, and the floor was suddenly covered in thick, luxurious furs.
I blinked in surprise. “That’s handy.”
Vix helped me from Don’s arms and tugged me down onto the furs, his hands already working at the zipper of my coat. “Speaking of hands, I want mine all over you... and in you.”
As I sank into the soft pelts, surrounded by the heat of four powerful bodies, any lingering doubts evaporated. This felt right in a way nothing else had since my memories began returning.
“I don’t know where this is going with you all, but I don’t want to have to eventually choose,” I confessed, watching their expressions carefully. “Between any of you or the others.”
Pierce’s fingers stilled. “All nine of us?”
“Eight,” I corrected, thinking of Rudy as something in my heart twisted at the memory of his rejection earlier.
Blitz made a dismissive noise, his mouth busy tracing the curve of my neck. “Rudy will eventually pull his antlers out of his ass.”
I ignored the comment, too distracted by Don’s hands sliding beneath my coat. “Is that... allowed? All of you?”
Don’s deep voice rumbled against my ear. “It’s not unheard of for several members in a herd to share a mate.”
“But?” I prompted, sensing hesitation.
“But never a whole herd.” Pierce’s eyes never left mine as he helped Vix tug my boots off. “It’s unprecedented.”
Vix’s fingers slid up my calf, leaving trails of heat in their wake. “So is your magic. So is the pull we all feel toward you.”
“We all feel it.” Don’s hand spanned my ribs below my breast. “That you’re ours.”
A flush of heat spread through me at his words. “And I’m meant to believe this is some magical connection? Not that I’m the only available woman or something?”
I couldn’t quite wrap my head around this many men wanting only me. They were all attractive in every way, and it seemed too good to be true. Plus, men had needs, and I wasn’t sure my pussy would survive.
Blitz snorted against my collarbone. “Trust me, if it were about availability, Vix would have?—”
Vix aimed a half-hearted swat at Blitz’s head. “Keep talking and I’ll?—”
I cut him off with a kiss, not wanting to hear the rest of that particular threat. His mouth moved hungrily against mine, his hands threading through my hair to hold me close.
When we broke apart, I found myself laughing, a sound of pure joy that bubbled up from somewhere deep. “I can’t believe I’m doing this.”
Pierce’s fingers found the hem of my sweater, his eyes questioning. I nodded, lifting my arms as he pulled it over my head, leaving me in my bra and leggings.
