Fix smiled and grasped his hand. “This way.”
He led them into the kitchen and Liam gaped at the sight of it.
“Do you own every kitchen gadget ever made?” he asked in shock.
“Just about,” Fix said proudly, walking behind a huge kitchen island and pulling out an apron. He put it on and Liam sputtered out a laugh at the sight of it. It had a loaf of bread on it with ‘All you knead is loaf’ printed in bold letters above it.
“Stunning.”
Fix gave it a twirl to show off.
“Told you I got punny aprons,” he said, walking closer and gripping Liam’s waist.
“You sit here.” Fix hoisted Liam up onto the counter with no effort at all, and Liam squeaked at the sudden move. “I’ll make us something to eat.”
Liam watched as he pulled out a mountain of ingredients, bustling around as he arranged sandwiches and porridge and wraps. He explained as he went that he made everyone’s breakfasts to their liking.
“No eggs for you,” Fix said as he poured eggs into a pan to scramble.
“You remembered.” Liam felt warmed through.
Fix threw him a look. “I remember everything you told me.”
Liam melted into a puddle.
“Come here please, Daddy,” Liam asked softly.
Fix came closer, standing in front of Liam, his hips bracketed by Liam’s knees. He splayed his large palms over Liam’s thighs and leaned in. Liam’s breath hitched.
Fix slid his hands over his thighs and wrapped his fingers around Liam’s wrists. Achingly slowly, he lifted them up, turning them palms up so he could place warm kisses over his pulse points. It felt like he was being branded by those lips. The scratch of Fix’s beard over soft skin sent shivers down Liam’s spine.
Not giving Liam a single moment to catch his breath, Fix lifted his arms up by the wrists and the sensation of them being suspended in the air, being held up in Fix’s firm grip, made Liam let out a moan he just couldn’t control.
“You like that, honey?” Fix asked, tugging at his arms until he had them wrapped around his neck and resting on his shoulders.
He released Liam’s wrists and Liam whined at the loss of that hold.
“Yes,” Liam whispered, and Fix ran his fingers over his arms and his shoulders, then down his back until he had them wrapped around his waist.
He tugged Liam closer, his ass sliding over the countertop until his hips met Fix’s. Fix was hard. He felt huge, and Liam’s hips rolled without him meaning to.
The hands on his waist slipped lower and Liam bit his lip, moaning again, wishing Fix would just take him apart right there and make him forget everything. Wishing he’d bend him over and fuck him until he couldn’t see straight anymore.
Fix leaned in closer. Liam could feel his breath on his face. Could smell that intoxicating scent Fix always carried with him. It made him dizzy. Their lips were so close Liam could almost taste him. His body already knew what it felt like to be kissed by Fix and was prepared for that freight train of sensation to slam into him.
A thunderous noise nearly shook the house just before their lips met. King barked twice before bounding into the kitchen and parking himself under Liam’s dangling feet. Fix groaned and Liam rested his forehead against his shoulder, desperately trying to stop himself from trembling.
“I’M LATE!” someone screeched, power walking into the kitchen and zooming toward the fridge without even noticing they were there.
Liam stared at the tiny cloud of pastel pink in a crop top. The person stuffed their entire head into the fridge and whined when they clearly didn’t find what they were looking for.
“I got your sandwich here, muffin,” Fix said and the person spun around, face breaking into a blinding smile.
Liam recoiled.
The man was angelic. Probably the most beautiful person Liam had seen, with huge sapphire eyes and a head of shiny blond curls.
“OMG GIMME.” The man made grabby hands at Fix, who chuckled as he extended a plate toward him, a sandwich the size of his head on it. The man grabbed it, took an undignified bite out of it and flounced out of the kitchen.
