“Look who crossing the line now?” Tone’s dry laugh made my skin crawl.

“I don’t got time for this shit, let’s go. Your punishment awaits you.” He took a long pull from his blunt then held it out for Staress to take.

“I can’t wait to see this shit.” Staress laughed. She switched her ass hard towards Tone.

She snatched the blunt from Tone’s hand then walked out without looking back at me. I was officially on both of their bad sides; didn’t really matter what side I was on when I didn’t know either one of them.

“You try some stupid shit?—”

“You’ll kill me, I get it.” I rolled my eyes.

I sounded brave but on the inside my stomach did somersaults.

“All of that smart shit with me and Star is cool. It’s Grand you should watch that shit with. You fuck up, freeze up, or do some shit that’s out of line with him, there’s no limits to what he’ll do to make you feel it.” His voice went low and cold.

He made his way across the room and stepped close to me. My throat went dry as my pulse slammed violently inside of me. Roughly, he grabbed the back of my head and pulled me close enough to feel his breath against my face. His rough fingertips brushed against my forehead until he pushed loose strands of my damp hair off of my face.

“Grand loves to teach lessons that no one can save themselves from.” He grabbed my wrist and snatched me as he turned towards the mural.

Tone’s laugh was a deep ugly sound that bounced off the walls and sent shivers down my spine.

“I can’t wait to see you crack tonight.” He murmured loud enough for me to hear him.

Before he let my wrist go, he threatened me one last time by telling me if I tried some funny shit following behind him, he would break my legs. I followed behind him barefoot and scared. The hallway we stood in seemed to swallow me whole. The lights were almost nonexistent, once again I was greeted with blackness. The walls were black; I could smell faint weed smoke from the blunt Staress took from him and wondered where else did she go.

Tone walked in front of me comfortably like he owned the place, he was so confident in his words, he didn’t look back to check if I was following. I heard feathers ruffling in the distance and knew the owls were near. The hallway stretched longer than I expected as my feet slapped against the marbled checkered floor. We made it to a steel silver door, my stomach churned as I followed behind Tone down about twenty steps.

The further we went, the more I felt the pull of Grand. We went down one more hallway until Tone’s boots scuffed to a stop at the end of the hall. He reached for double doors that were black and gold then glanced over his shoulders with a sinister smile on his face. He turned away and pushed the double doors open then waved me in as weed smoke slapped me in the face.

“Walk in bad ass, you’re late enough.”

KIDNAPPED BY THE DEVIL

The room hadthe same vibe as the bathroom, gothic and dark. With the exception of it feeling like sin and money had sex in here and never cleaned up. Clouds of smoke made it appear cloudy, my throat burned as I looked up at the high ceiling. There was a massive chandelier that hung low, again it had no nice crystals. Owls sat on it and appeared to look fake until a couple of them blinked back at me.They’re real…

The walls were draped in black silk curtains; I could make out some of the faces through the dimly lit lights. Mainly men, several of them and they were all big and tatted wearing all black. They sat at different round tables with guns and stacks of money. I eyed one man that had a deep scar from the top of hisforehead to the bottom of his chin. He licked his thumb before flipping through a stack of money faster.

Another clicked a gold-plated lighter over and over like he was waiting for something violent to happen. He winked at me, chuckled then gave his attention back to what looked like a platter full of drugs. I eyed the plate; it was a mountain of cocaine. I swallowed down hard and ignored the urge to go over there and dip my entire face in and inhale.I’m no feen, I don’t need it.

A few of the men eyed me, while the others continued at whatever they were doing at their tables. I didn’t like Tone but desperately looked around for him in the huge room. At least I was a bit familiar with the asshole other than all of these new dangerous faces. It felt like I needed guidance. I didn’t know where to turn or walk to. I took four steps forward and stopped when I saw a woman laid out on a black table like she was part of the furniture.

She was naked, her dark skin gleamed from the candles that sat on either side of each foot and on both side of her shoulders. Her nipples were hard against the cool air inside of the room while the rest of her body was covered in fruit, strawberries, slices of mango, and grapes trailed down the curve of her stomach like jewelry.

The woman’s eyes were open; she stared at the ceiling with her lips parted. One of the men reached over, picked up a piece of pineapple off her thigh. After he popped it in his mouth, he continued to count the stack of money like it was normal.

My stomach twisted again, I wanted to back up and run but couldn’t.Will Grand force my big ass to lay naked? I got enough body to place all type of food on top of…

“You’re late, little owl. I’m disappointed, I wanted to have a good evening with you.” His deep raspy voice boomed through the room.

I felt my eyes grow wide; I looked frantically all over and didn’t see him. Maybe I wasn’t ready to see the man that had all of these hood looking men counting up stacks of money with a naked woman lying on the table with fruit all over her body.

“Keep walking straight.” His voice boomed again.

The room continued to hum with life, as I stood still. It was something about how deep and raspy his voice was that made me instantly pray to God and hope for some sort of deliverance.

“Mira, you’re in a lot of trouble. My directions weren’t followed. This could have been a great evening for you and me. You ruined it, now walk before I have someone force you to.” He continued to speak from a distance that didn’t seem far away.

“Where the fuck am I walking to!” I yelled.
