Page 11 of Dominating Sean

Moss leaned back and flipped through the file, which contained only the basics of what had happened. The real details would go only to the company Sean hired. “And you don’t have your own internal security?”

Sean studied Moss. He had blonde hair and blue eyes that seemed a little familiar. He looked nothing like the guys at the other security agencies he had interviewed, which were mostly staffed by large, intimidating ex-military types. Regardless, he had been told that this guy was the best.

“We have internal security, but all things considered, I need a fresh take.”

“We have a cyber security specialist on staff. I’d love to bring her in and have you talk to her. She will definitely give you a fresh take,” Moss said, a slight smile playing around his lips. He leaned forward, pushing a button on his desk phone.

“Sure, whatever you think will help,” Sean said, raking his hand through his hair. He had already decided that he probably would not hire this guy. Spencer Moss didn’t seem to fit the bill at all, but this cybersecurity specialist was the person who had drawn him to this firm. He hadn’t been able to find out much about her, but everyone he had spoken to had raved.

“Don’t worry, we’ll figure out what’s going on,” Moss said, his grin easy and unworried. “Who else did you talk to? Kyle Deck?”

“Yeah, and Ethan McCray.”

Moss snorted at that and glanced up, right before the door clicked open. A man walked in, big and imposing and more like Sean would have expected for a private security agency. And the man stopped in his tracks, looking startled. Startled because he recognized Sean, surely. Because Sean recognized him. Enzo. Surely, this was a coincidence. A woman was behind the big guy, and she smacked right into him and bounced off before falling. Enzo turned to help her up.

“Seriously, do you have to be so big?” The woman sounded frustrated and Sean could see her brushing herself off before she came around the big guy and stopped the same way Enzo had, mouth agape. India.

She was dressed differently, but it was definitely India. Her hair was in an intricate braid that wove around her head, and she was wearing a short plaid skirt with a Ramones t-shirt. Her long, muscular legs were exposed and tempting, and her feet were clad in big black Doc Martens, not those little feminine flats.

“Shit,” she gasped when their eyes met. His dick, as always, responded to her and to Enzo.

For a moment, Moss seemed oblivious to the tension. “Sean, this is Enzo Gallo, who would head your personal security team while we flush out any danger, and my sister, India Moss, our head of cyber security.” Moss looked at all three of them, brows up. “What?”

Spencer Moss had been shot when India worked for him. This guy was some sort of high-level ex-spy? Sean glanced at Enzo, who didn’t acknowledge him at all, instead turning towards Moss. “Seriously Moss? That Blackstone guy?”

“Your name is India MOSS?” Sean asked. Her last name had been something else. Marker or Mason.

“You guys know him?” Moss asked, frowning.

India blinked. “Dude, how do you not remember? Sean Blackstone. He’s why you hired Enzo to be my personal protection.” She followed this up with some crazy eye and eyebrow signals, and puzzle pieces started to come together in Sean’s mind. Cyber security expert meant she was a hacker. His silly, useless assistant had been pulling off the biggest hack in company history while trying to trick him into drinking instant coffee and asking him if he was sad?

“I called you an idiot,” Sean said stupidly, and she rolled her eyes.

“Yeah, that kind of stung. I have an IQ of 153,” she said.

“And she brings that up a lot. Like, way too much.” Enzo snickered, elbowing her. “But seriously, Moss? You’re the king of noticing random details.”

Her brother grimaced. “Uh, yeah, kinda forgot about that whole incident, if we’re being honest.”

“Moss!”

“To be fair, I was, you know, hospitalized—” He trailed off, glancing nervously at India. “Anyway, this is awkward. But Indie really is the best.”

Sean studied India, then spoke, his voice cold. “Blackstone Industries has been subjected to another cyber attack. You wouldn’t know anything about that, would you?”

“Dude, I left that job because you fired me and called me an idiot. I know nothing of cyber attacks,” she said, giving him the big, innocent smile she used to always give him. Enzo was frowning but saying nothing.

“I fired you because your passwords were breached right before a major hack of my company database that included giving all of my minimum wage workers a raise,” he snapped. “You gave my assistant four months of extra maternity leave, paid.”

She shrugged. “I talked to her. You were calling her when she was breastfeeding her baby because you couldn’t find your favorite cufflinks. She deserves that extra leave, but I was not the one to give it to her. I know nothing of this minimum wage you talk about. Besides, should you have fired me for it? Maybe you fired me because I wouldn’t fuck you.” At this, Enzo growled low in his throat, like he thought he was a goddamn tiger.

Moss choked. “Brother here. Sitting right here,” he said, raising his hand.

“So are you here to fling accusations at me?” India asked Sean, ignoring her brother. She had her hands on her hips, defiant and sexy as hell. The entire time she was his secretary, he had imagined her like this, wilder and more unrestrained. Now he had it, and he really needed to hate her. It only made sense to hate her. She had screwed him over.

“No,” he said with a smirk. “I’m here because someone told me this guy could catch whoever was fucking with my systems.”

Moss widened his eyes. “Nope. I said India can catch the guy.”
