He could feel the hate and suspicion pouring from
Calliope Kane as he spoke. No doubt she thought he
had brought the others here, led them to her. Perhaps
he had. Perhaps they had followed him when he had
come after Roxy.
But he didn’t think so.
He thought Gahiji had come to Calliope’s, looking
for information about Dana, that he was as surprised
to see Dagan here as Dagan was to see him.
