Like she’d tasted something similar before. The

thought made a short laugh escape her. She’d tasted

himbefore, eleven years ago; that’s why it was familiar.

Only that wasn’t it.

She felt like she was missing something. Something important—

A cool wash of air touched her skin, and she froze,

the fine hairs at her nape prickling and rising.Dagan.

A shudder rocked her from crown to toes.

There was a faint suction sound as the glass shower

door pulled open. Her breath hitched. Raising her head,

she slicked her wet hair back off her face, but she didn’t

turn, didn’t move, just stared straight ahead at the glass

mosaic tiles.

“I didn’t invite you to join me,” she said, a little

breathless.Damn.She cursed herself for that.

“You left the bathroom door unlocked.” His voice

was a low rasp. Just the sound of it stroked her senses.

“I took it as an invitation.”

Another faint shush of sound told her he’d pulled the

glass door open a little wider. She closed her eyes for

second, knowing he was looking at her, the curve of her

spine, the swell of her ass, the length of her legs. She

opened her eyes and shivered.

Finally, she turned her head, looking back at him

over her shoulder. He was all golden skin, smooth over

hard muscle, planes and angles. Dark gold hair curled

on his chest and tapered to a thin line down the center

of his belly. He was sex on two legs…two long, muscled legs, wrapped in faded denim.
