“You’re polite.” He stepped in, crowding me with the stench of rum on his breath. “I like that.”

This was getting out of hand. Where was Silas? I put up my hands to keep him back and scanned the crowd. Silas and Star weren’t anywhere to be seen. I thought I saw him in the back, but it turned out to be someone else with black hair.

Yellow teeth wasn’t backing down. He snatched my wrist and hissed down at me. “You ever been with a real man, doll face?”

A familiar panicked flutter pounded in my chest. Then, just like that, the grip on my wrist was gone and yellow teeth was on the ground. I blinked down at the trail of blood trickling out of his mouth and wondered what happened. My silent question was answered when a pair of strong arms wrapped around my waist.

“You okay, baby?”

Mason.

Any concern I had vanished the instant I looked back at his face. Sweat was trickling down his brow, glistening on his tanned skin like a beacon of temptation.

“Can I touch you?”

A wicked smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth. “You want me to fuck you right here in front of everyone?”

Kinda.

Boos echoed through the room, and that’s when I realized the fight wasn’t over. The juggernaut was standing in the ring giving Mason a ‘what the hell’ eye, because he’d stepped out to protect me. Which just made me want to crawl all over him more.

“You should probably finish the fight.”

He kissed my forehead, whispered, “Meet me in the back room,” then climbed back into the ring.

For the first time in years, I didn’t feel alone.

My fists clenched, pulling at the tape around my knuckles. It’d been awhile since I had a challenge like that. Tony didn’t go down easy. I could still feel the fucker’s skull in the ache spreading across the back of my hand.

Sybil’s fingers twirled over my palm, unwinding the wrapping on my left fist. “That was a good fight.”

What she meant by that was, ‘did I want her to suck me off?’ Sports bunnies were a real thing, and it just so happened that Sybil had a degree in sport medicine. So it was handy to have her around. In more than one way.

“I’m good.”

“You sure?” Her eyes dropped down to my shorts. “I know how pent up you get after a fight.”

She wasn’t wrong. Sometimes I could ride the high for hours afterwards. Getting off helped tame some of the adrenaline surging through my system. But my dick only wanted one person.

My eyes rolled up to the red-head timidly slipping into the room.

Sybil kept her focus on what she was doing and sighed when the door clicked closed. “You shouldn’t be in here.”

This wouldn’t be the first time some chick tried to sneak into find me, so I couldn’t fault her for trying to protect me. Plus, I liked the look Harper shot her in response. The snarky way her mouth curled was hot as fuck. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say Freckles was jealous. I was tempted to tell Sybil to get on her knees just to see what Harper would do.

The snarl in her lip deepened when Sybil shifted over in between my legs so she could grab my other hand.

“I can come back later if you’re busy.”

She was definitely jealous.

Did I comfort Harper, or tell she didn’t have anything to worry about? Fuck no. Why would I do some dumb shit like that?

I simply looked at her and said, “You’re fine.”

My dick twitched at the pissed off glare in Freckle’s eyes, which made this entire situation better. Sybil noticed the movement and licked her lips.

“I knew you needed some relief.”
