“Good morning my little gem. How are my girls this day?”
She kissed him back, “This little swimmer is very active all night. She seems to think night is day.”
He kissed her belly and then helped her to sit next to their children.
Soraya kissed both of their heads and he set a plate of food in front of her.
She had learned to love all sorts of food and he enjoyed making them for her.
He ate quickly, wanting to get everything ready for the day.
They were going to visit Marit and Destan before they had their baby.
Marit was so calm when Soraya had the others and kept her daughter calm as well.
Cruiz was grateful to both Marit and his own mother.
Irini loved the children and would often keep them overnight because she just didn’t want to give them back.
He would laugh and smile and Soraya would agree that they were in good hands.
When everyone was ready, they walked out on their beach and into the water, before changing and swimming to the tribe.
His son had a dark blue tail like him, and Ara’s tail was all pink with no blue.
She was the most adorable little mermaid and he held her hand tightly as they swam.
Beck was much too old to hold hands while swimming he had told them once, but he held onto Soraya’s hand because he wanted his mother to be safe.
Soraya gently ran her hand over Beck’s head and kissed him there before continuing on.
When they got to the tribe, Ulyana and Fin were there with their children and the kids all rushed off to play with the others in the tribe.
Destan went with to supervise and Cruiz knew they were in good hands.
Marit swam up to them, “Oh my sweet gem. You are ready to have your baby any day.”
Soraya nodded, “She has dropped. And I feel my body readying for her arrival.”
Cruiz held her hand, “Should we have come?”
Soraya nodded, “I wished to see everyone.”
He kissed her softly, “Very well then.”
They spent most of the day there, and by the time they swam back, Ara was asleep in his arms and Beck was trying his best to swim next to Soraya.
Cruiz grinned at him and tucked him under his other arm and when they got back, he tucked them both in bed.
They changed back to their legs and Soraya kissed them both and went to their room.
When he went in the room, Soraya was on their bed, taking a deep breath and then letting it out.
He dropped to his knees in front of her and she looked at him, “It’s time. Your daughter is ready to greet the world.”
He looked around frantically for his phone and dialed his mom to come get the kids.
She let him know she was on the way and he helped Soraya sit back on the bed.
