“She’s in?” Andreas asks, startling me.

“Were you standing there the whole time?”

He frowns. “Where else would I have gone?”

I don’t bother answering. Worry washes over me as I consider how much of the conversation he heard.

I wonder if the talk of babies frightened him.

But if he heard, Andreas doesn’t give me any indication as he takes my hands into his and brings them to his lips.

“Let’s go to Vegas.”

CHAPTER 29

Andreas

“This view is amazing,” Ivy gushes as she stands in front of our floor-to-ceiling window, staring out at the strip, more than a hundred floors above ground level.

While she watches the scene below us, I watch her in the long, fluffy white robe provided by the hotel. We’ve just gotten out of the shower, and although I’ve had her once this morning, that doesn’t stop my body from reacting to what’s underneath the robe.

She turns to me excitedly. “Lillian said she’s going to do a day trip to the Grand Canyon tomorrow. I’ve never seen the Grand Canyon.”

“We can go tomorrow if you want.”

She raises an eyebrow. “I think tickets are sold out for the tour Lillian ’s doing.”

I pull out my phone and dial my assistant’s number.

“I need two tickets for a Grand Canyon tour from Vegas for tomorrow. … Hang on.” I move the phone from my ear to ask Ivy, “Do you prefer early morning or late morning tickets?”

She hesitates for a beat before answering, “Late morning.”

“Good choice.”

We’ll be out late tonight since it’s the party with everyone from the cast. By the time we arrived last night it was close to two in the morning. Though we did still go out and party a little, tonight is the real thing.

“I’ll text them to you when they’re available, Mr. Knight,” my assistant says.

“That’s taken care of,” I tell Ivy, tossing my phone on the other side of the bed. “Now, come here.”

Ivy moves to stand in between my spread legs as I sit on the corner of the bed. I watch her as her eyes roam around the room.

“Are you sure that it’s okay we’re staying in this enormous room? Did Michael really book suites for the entire cast?”

No, Michael in fact did not book the presidential suite for anyone. The studio wouldn’t have paid for this room. Most of the crew that came is either on lower floors or at different hotels altogether.

I personally had my room upgraded on my own dime because there was no way in hell I was letting Ivy have her own room.

I’ve gotten way too used to having her in my bed every night to let that shit happen.

“The room’s taken care of,” is all I tell her before pushing a lock of hair behind her ear. “Is there anything in particular you’re looking forward to doing here?”

“You just booked a Grand Canyon tour for us. And there’s the party tonight. Isn’t that enough?”

“Not if there’s something else you want to do, it isn’t.”

“Oh, and how could I forget about the Formula 1?”
