“What are you waiting?—?”

I flip her down on the bed, effectively stealing the words from her. “You always talk so much?” I tease, reaching between us and tossing the condom. A giggle slips from her lips when I nibble her ear, and I dive right into the coconut haze. “I’ll get you there, but I need you to do something for me.” She gasps, arching into me as I take my time kissing down her body. Sucking each perfect peak. Licking every delicious dip. I reach her thighs and breathe over her center, my mouth watering at the thought of devouring her. But I hold her there until she looks down at me with that sassy eyebrow raised. “Use my name when you sayplease.”

Her eyes flash with desire, but just as quickly, she catches herself and sets her mouth in a scowl. We stare at each other for several seconds. If I’m right about her, she’ll do it. “Please,” she whispers.

I tilt my head. “Please, what?”

Her tongue swipes across her lips painfully slowly before her defenses fall and vulnerability seeps into her expression. “Please make me come on your tongue.”

“That”—I tut, sliding a knuckle through her slit—“is not what I asked for.” I circle her clit slowly, and her head drops back with a groan. I’m playing with fire now, but she’s so elusive, I need to know if I’ve figured her out.

A heavy sigh later, she pins me with her stare, enunciating each word. “Please lick my pussy until I’m screaming your name,Trevor.”

Goddamn,the mouth on her.

“Gladly.” I grip her hips and pull her to me, relishing in her taste as if she’s a long drink after a scorching day. She squirms under my tongue, her moans growing louder as she claws at my head. Reckless abandon, at the mercy of my mouth.I knew it.

As much as she might pretend to, Willa doesn’t like being in control. She craves the freedom of letting go, and I’ll gladly give it to her.

Me

Can we talk about last night?

Willa

That defeats the purpose of a one-night stand…

We don’t need to talk about anything. It happened, and we can forget about it.

Me

Please? Over breakfast?

Willa

I’m already headed back to LA. Really Trevor, don’t worry about it. We’re good.

CHAPTER SIX

WILLA

My phone dings right as I decide to lock it inside my computer desk. Emily and I are the only ones in the studio this morning, so I can’t even blame my employees for my distraction today. Ironclad focus at work is a superpower I pride myself on, but everything has been stealing my attention. I take another impulsive peek at the screen as I turn off the sound. Passport Application Receivedsits at the top of my inbox, sending a flurry of excitement through me.I’m actually doing it. This dream of photographing my way through Europe is really happening. All thanks to Trevor…

His stupid smile flashes in my head, and I sneer. I’ll never admit it out loud, but I’ve been working toward this trip ever since he told me to “let it go” at Crystal Beach a few years ago. He planted the seed, and he was righ—Whatthefuck?

I set my phone on my desk for the umpteenth time, pushing it away for good measure. It’s hazardous to my mental health, clearly. Never in my life have I thought about that man so much.Maybe I’m getting sick.

My phone buzzes again, and it’s in my hands before I realize it.

Ash

Spook Fest tickets just went on sale.

Me

What does that have to do with me?
