I see her swallow as her big brown eyes watch my every movement. “Thank you,” she whispers.

I want so badly to kiss her, but I know if I start, I won’t be able to stop. My fingers itch to ink her, and I want to get started.

Taking her hand, I lock the door before leading her to the back, where the private rooms are.

A black adjustable chair sits in the middle next to all my tools. “Are you nervous?”

I eye her hands, fidgeting with her purse. I gently take it from her and set it down on the small table in the corner.

“A little,” she laughs softly. “How bad does it hurt?”

“It’s not bad. I’ll do my best to distract you,” I grin. “Are you ready to see your tattoo?”

She nods, and I walk over to my equipment to get my drawing. I’ve been working on it little by little since I met her. I knew without a doubt I was going to do everything in my power to make sure she would be standing here with me one day.

I hand her the paper, and her eyes widen as she studies it. A single tear falls down her cheek, and I catch it with my thumb as she stares at the drawing.

“Do you like it?” I ask, praying I got it right. A little hummingbird has its wings spread as it begins to land. In its mouth, a beautiful rose lies.

“It’s beautiful,” she breathes. “I love it.” She blinks back the tears and smiles at me. “Can you add something to the bottom?” She traces the ink and all the little details.

“Of course. What did you have in mind?” She walks to her purse and pulls out a piece of paper, handing it to me.

“Can you write this in your handwriting at the bottom somewhere?” I glance at the paper, and my heart thuds loudly against my ribcage.

“Yeah, I can do that,” I say softly, pushing past the emotions that are rising in me.

I walk over to the table and get out my pens, making a fewdrafts before settling on the one I want to weave into the drawing.

In love, we find our strength.

I show her the final design, and she nods her head, smiling. “It’s perfect.”

“I’m really glad you love it because I took a huge risk that you would.” I lift my shirt to show her the bandage over my heart. “Travis helped me out this morning,” I smile, pulling off the wrapping. The exact same tattoo minus the handwriting sits by my heart. “I’ll have to add your handwriting to it, but luckily, that will be easy to do.”

“You gave me your spot,” she says as her eyes fill again. She lightly traces the new ink, and I weave our fingers together over my heart.

“I guess someone told you about that,” I softly laugh.

“Your brothers might have filled me in before I came here. We started talking about tattoos, and it came up.”

“I knew a while ago that I was saving that spot for you, but I wanted to wait and get them done on the same day to surprise you.”

“So I guess you’re stuck with me then…forever.” A small smile plays on her lips, and I can tell she’s secretly pleased that she will always be on me.

“Forever.” I kiss her palm and smile. “I guess the question now is…are you ready to be stuck with me forever?”

“I’m ready,” she nods her head excitedly.

“Let me get the transfer printed with the words, and we’ll get started.” I walk to the laptop I set up earlier, quickly scan the design, and print it onto transfer paper. “Have you decided where you want it?” I ask, walking over to her.

“I thought I would let you decide.”

“I was hoping you would say that,” I grin wickedly. “Let me see…” I graze her body with my fingers as I slowly pretend to search for the spot I want. I know exactly where I want it, but the more I can turn her on, the more she will focus on that and not the needle.

I stop at her back and brush her hair to the side. My fingers find her zipper in the back as I slowly lower it. “I need to see more of you to know for certain,” I whisper in her ear as her dress pools at her feet. She’s not wearing a bra, and I instantly get hard at the sight of her bare breasts.

My hands continue to roam her body as they glide over her firm ass in a white lace thong.
