Our trio is an absolute success.

‘’You're tired, my Faksaya!’’ Pherebos says in a whisper. ‘’How about a week's rest on MyFaS?’’

‘’Gnuffgnuff!’’ I say enthusiastically.

‘’I agree with Wingo!’’ Ileana smiles.

‘’Sounds like a plan, let's head to MyFaS!’’

Epilogue 2.

Noviosk

I hurt all over. My body feels like a giant wound, and my head is throbbing.

‘’With care,’’ says a woman's voice, soft and comforting. ‘’You'll reopen your wounds if you get too agitated.’’

‘’Where am I? Who are you? What's going on?’’

‘’Wow! So many questions! I'm Samantha, a Human, as you can see. Feel free to call me Sam. I found you on Vagantu. After the Confederation's big raid on the slave trade, they offered all those who'd been freed a ride to wherever they wanted. Remember Vagantu?’’

I nod gently, waiting to hear more from her.

‘’I only asked them to recover my ship, which had remained in the hands of those infamous traffickers. I went back to Vagantu to see if I could find Logan, my brother.’’

‘’Your brother?‘’

‘’We used to travel together. I haven't seen him since the day they captured us and took us to Vagantu. The Confederation took care of my wounds and gave me my ship back. So I set off in search of Logan. But I found no trace of him. But I did find you, washed upon a submerged rock. You were covered in slugs. I'm sorry, but I had to shave off all your fur to get rid of them. I also cleaned your wounds as best I could. I put splints on the fractures in your legs to keep them from getting worse. I also treated your big head injury. Unfortunately, the Confederation had already left, so I couldn't take you to one of their regeneration sarcophagi. You'll have to wait for all this to heal before you can set off again.’’

Truths.

‘’I'll be fine! Thanks to you... Sam.’’

‘’Hey, what's your name?’’

This woman is a slave I freed from my jails. I'm not going to tell her that I'm the reason she's had such a rough time on Vagantu.

‘’My name's Nov! Thanks for saving me. I'll remember that!’’

So here I am on a tiny ship with a human who's three inches tall. I'm pretty sure she's no taller than my shoulders. I'm giving her a thorough once-over. I don't remember her.

But I've definitely seen those captivating blue eyes before. I've seen them on a human captured some time ago. He's dead now, though. I know that for a fact.

I'll have to keep that information to myself.

For now, I need to focus on getting my strength and my fractured limbs back.

Then I'll get my revenge and rebuild my empire...

Epilogue 3.

Prax

‘’You can go!’’ the guard says, opening the door.

I've been stuck in this cramped room for hours, waiting for the Intergalactic Confederation to make a decision about my fate. They give me water and three nutritional bars, but I'm more stressed with each passing minute. What are they going to do with me?

I've heard of isolated penitentiaries in space where dangerous people are locked up to protect the general public. Is this where I'm going to spend the rest of my days?
