I melted into him, my back arching as my hands grasped at his shoulders. His lips devoured mine, all decadence and sin, while his skilled fingers stroked and teased my aching cock.

The buildup was unbearable, a coiled spring ready to snap. With every swipe of his thumbs, every plundering kiss, I fell deeper under his spell. And then, like a dam bursting, I shattered. My release pulsed through me in violent waves, my vision flashing white as I cried out hoarsely, my whole body convulsing.

Matt held me tight, his arms a steel band cage as I shuddered and spasmed in his lap. With a final jerk of my hips, I sagged against him, my breath coming in harsh gasps.

Ilay boneless in Matt’s arms, my mind a hazy blur as my body hummed with the lingering aftershocks of my release. My chest rose and fell rapidly as I struggled to catch my breath, my heart hammering a wild rhythm against my rib cage.

I was all kinds of dazed, like I’d just tumbled through a whirlwind and landed in a pile of feathers—only the feathers were Matt’s lips, and they were everywhere. He trailed hot kisses along my jaw, down my neck, and across my collarbone, his breath a searing brand on my hypersensitive skin. I swore, if kisses were snowflakes, I’d have been buried under an avalanche.

His fingers gently skimmed my torso, igniting a trail of liquid fire that coiled in my gut. With a groan, I shoved at his face—a task comparable to pushing against a marble statue—as I tried to catch a moment to gather my scattered wits.

“Hey, can you not? You need to listen to me for a minute.”

Matt merely chuckled against the hollow of my throat, the rumbling vibration sending delicious tingles through my body. “You taste divine, pet.”

With a frustrated huff, I pushed at his face again, finally succeeding in gaining a few inches of space. “Will you pay attention? We need to discuss my conditions.”

Matt’s eyes glinted with dark amusement as he regarded me. “I’m all ears, kitten.” The endearment rolled off his tongue like melted chocolate.

“Cut it out with the lip action for a sec. I can’t think straight.” My words came out more irritable than I intended, but damn, this man was distracting.

A wicked grin curved those sinful lips, but mercifully, he stilled his roaming hands and sat back, adjusting me more securely on his lap, his hands still anchoring me to him like I was the last lifeboat on theTitanic. I refused to dwell on how natural it felt nestled against all those hard planes.

I took a steadying breath, sitting up straighter in his lap. “Okay. So, my first condition is that I go where I please, whenever I please.”

One dark brow quirked upward. “Within reason, pet. I can’t have you wandering off and getting snatched by someone else.” His thumb stroked my hip, a possessive glance if ever I saw one. “But I’ll agree to have one of my men accompany you as a bodyguard.”

I scowled but nodded curtly. “Fine. Next, I want to be able to see my friends and family whenever I want, no exceptions.”

Matt’s expression softened infinitesimally. “Of course, kitten. I won’t stand in the way of that. I know how important they are to you.” I felt a surge of unexpected gratitude at his understanding.

“Next, you’ll cancel that hundred grand debt.”

Matt gave a brisk nod. “Consider it done.”

Gaining confidence, I continued. “And finally, no funny business in the bedroom. I won’t do anything I don’t like, so forget about that BDSM stuff.” I waved a hand vaguely between our bodies. “Nothing I’m not into—no whips, chains, or any of that.”

Matt exhaled a put-upon sigh, but his eyes remained warm. “Have no fear, pet. I would never force you into anything you don’t want.” His fingers brushed a stray lock of hair from my forehead in an unexpectedly tender gesture. “Those are acceptable terms.”

That was all my conditions laid out bare, and for the life of me, I couldn’t think of anything else to tack on the list right then—though something told me this deal would keep growing like a weed in fertile soil.

“Is that all?” His voice rumbled beneath me.

“Yeah, that’s my manifesto.”

He leaned in close enough for his breath to tickle my ear. “Then we have an agreement,” he murmured, his voice a delicious growl that vibrated through my chest. He leaned in, his eyes darkening with intent.

I slapped my palm over his mouth, feeling his lips twitch into a smirk beneath my hand. “Wait a second, you insatiable beast. What about dinner?”

Matt’s eyes sparkled with mischief as he licked my palm, forcing me to snatch it back with a yelp. He looked at me with a hunger that had nothing to do with the meal we were supposed to have.

“Dinner can wait,” he said, his tone heavy with promise. “But I can’t.”

Before I could formulate a witty retort, his lips crashed into mine, igniting a wildfire of sensation. He tasted like sin and temptation. His tongue teased the seam of my lips before plunging in to tangle with mine. It was a dance of dominance and submission, and I was losing ground fast.

My fingers dug into his shoulders as I tried to anchor myself, but it was akin to holding back the tide with a sieve. The world narrowed down to the slick heat of his mouth, the intoxicating taste of him filling my senses until I was gasping for air.

Just when I thought I might drown in him, Matt shifted, laying me on my back with a gentleness that belied the raw hunger in his gaze. His lips left mine, only to blaze a trail down my throat, each kiss sending shock waves through my body. A low moan escaped my throat, sounding foreign to my ears, but I didn’t care. I was lost in the maelstrom of sensation as his mouth rained fire on me.
