He looked at her. He was inwardly impressed that she had actually heard him, and remembered what he had said. “I do. But no cause for alarm: I’ve been getting one every evening lately.”

“Why?”

He smiled a weak but telling smile. “My business situation. Probably a bit too much on my plate. Among other things.”

Jayda hadn’t utilized those skills in a long time, but she moved over from the back of the tub and up to Harrison. He watched as her small body straddled his big body, with each one of her thighs on either side of his outer thighs, and then she sat on his lap facing him. His dick nearly poked her it got so hard.

But Jayda was looking at his temples. And she placed her fingers on either side of his temple and began massaging him there. “I haven’t done it in a long time,” she admitted as she massaged him, “but I think it’ll help.”

Harrison was confused. “You haven’t done what?”

“Massage therapy.”

Harrison opened his eyes. “You’ve been a masseuse?”

“For less than a month. Well, not a certified therapist or anything like that because I was still in training. I was a trainee. But I didn’t forget what they taught me.”

Harrison could smell her sweetness, and could feel her breasts poking his chest, and could feel her tight ass on the top of his thighs.

But the hardest thing about that moment was that her opening was just above his rod. And his rod was trying with all it had to go in while he was trying with all he had to keep it out.Because he didn’t want her to think that was all he thought of her.

It had been very nearly all he thought about her when he first saw her. But it oddly wasn’t anymore. And the main reason was her lovely face that captivated him. He kept staring into her face even as she massaged him. And it was too much for a man like him, who usually didn’t have to ask because every single woman he’d ever been with were always the ones more than happy to give it to him. But he knew Jayda was not that kind of girl. But how was he going to contain himself?

And on top of that, she was actually helping to ease his headache. “That feels good,” he said to her as her fingers continued to massage his temples.

She smiled that bright-white smile that made her face look quirky. She always looked so serious as if she had the world on her small shoulders. It was good to see her look like the sweet, wonderful young lady she was. “It feels great in fact,” he added, staring at that face.

It made Jayda feel good to give something back to him after how he bailed her out of what would have been homelessness. Or at least the loss of her apartment. “I’m glad I can help.”

“You have the knack for it. Most people don’t, but you do. Why did you only last a month?”

“Less than a month,” she said.

It had obviously not been a great time for her and she might not have wanted to talk about it, but he was too curious. “Why less than a month?”

A pained look appeared on her face. “They would only give me male clients,” she said, “and every single one of them wanted more than a massage. I wasn’t trying to go out like that,” she added, “but that’s all they wanted.”

A look of sadness appeared in her big, tobacco-brown eyes that made Harrison stare at her.

“It was like a nightmare. I hated going to work. And I always turned their propositions down, which caused a lot of bad feelings. The owners of the massage parlor didn’t like it either, and then one day they told me that if I didn’t stop turning down requests they were going to let me go. I told them no they weren’t, either, and I quit on the spot.”

She paused as she continued to nurse Harrison’s temples. He continued to stare at her. “All I wanted to do is give massages,” she continued. “Plain, ordinary massages. But they were trying to turn me into a prostitute. They didn’t call it that, but that’s exactly what it would have been.” She shook her head. “Not one man wanted a regular massage. They all wanted more from me. Just like all those sorry-ass boyfriends I’ve had. That’s all they want.”

Harrison felt bad for wanting her too. Because an argument could be made that that was all he wanted from her too. But he knew, deep down, that wasn’t true at all. He removed her hands from his temples, and held them as he stared into her eyes. “You’re a sweet, wonderful girl, Jayda. You deserve better than me. You deserve better than any man walking the face of this earth. And don’t you forget that.”

Jayda smiled that smile again, although he could tell she doubted what he was saying. Her experience had been the complete opposite. But he could also tell she appreciated him saying it. “Thanks,” she said. But then that sadness came over her again.

“What’s wrong, Jayda?”

He said it so heartfelt that it touched her. And tears appeared in her eyes. “I’m so tired of going nowhere. I try so hard in every job I’ve ever had, but I keep ending up with nothing.”

“And the guys in your life?”

She shook her head. “Like I said, they never wanted me. Nobody ever wantedme. They just wanted what they could get from me.” Then she looked into his eyes. “Like you,” she said honestly. His heart dropped.

Then she frowned. “But it’s okay,” she said when she saw his reaction. “I’m a realist. I’m no air-headed romantic okay? I’m one of those people that people use. It’s just the way it is. But . . .”

“But what, Jayda?”
