"Wow!"I tell him."It's impressive as hell!"
He squeezes my hand."Wait until you see what it will do."
He puts the basket in, then helps me climb up, straps me down, puts the helmet on me, and snaps a pic with his phone.Then walks around the front to get in.His gorgeous golden hair blows in the wind, and my heart melts.When he opens the door and climbs up, I tell him."Aurelius."He looks at me as he dons his helmet."You are my hero."
His grin splits his face, and he pulls the mic down and says."Soundcheck."
I ask him."Did you hear me?"
He winks and turns the key.The helicopter blades begin to spin, the body starts to vibrate, and the noise would be deafening if not for the helmet.He puts his feet on the pedals, one hand on the collective, the other on the cyclic, then turns to me and asks."Ready?"
"I was born ready!"
"Let's soar!"
I giggle as he calls the tower, picks the craft up, then taxis down the runway.I watch him fascinated by this new dimension to his already fucking awesomeness.My eyes are not on the airport or where we are going.They are locked onto him.
How can it be that one man is so....fucking awesome?
My heart melts even more and saturates my soul with love for him.Tears of joy slide down my cheeks, and when I sniff them, his eyes dart to access the sound.I giggle."I'm so fucking happy right now!"
His beautiful smile lights up his face as he flies us away from Vegas."You're missing the light show below."He tells me.
"I'm not missing anything."I grin at him.We fly east into the darkness, and I enjoy the view of my commanding man in his element.
"You're not gonna want to miss this light show."He tells me.
I turn my head to see the first morning rays of the sun breaking the horizon.It's the most breathtaking sight I have ever seen.When the fireball becomes too bright for the naked eye, he tells me."Flip your visor down."I do and look directly into the sun.
I feel so alive!So happy!So incredibly fortunate!
"Where are we going?"I ask, suddenly realizing I don't know.
"The Grand Canyon, of course."
"Oh my!Yay!"I giggle again.For the remainder of the trip, my eyes are glued to the scenery.From Lake Mead to the Hoover Dam to the Grand Canyon, it's all spectacular!Then he stops and hovers us over the gap between the canyon walls, and we watch the Colorado river flow under us.
I realize we are sinking slowly, and he says."Time for breakfast."
He does a hard pedal turn and spins us around.What I see leaves me completely shocked and awed!There is a small ledge halfway down into the crater that we are aiming for.My heart begins to thump so hard.I don't know if I can keep it inside me or not."Maximus Aurelius Moore, you are fucking awesome!"I tell him softly as my throat constricts with the force of my heart beating and the breathless state he has put me in."Wow!Just wow!"
In the center of the ledge is a blue heart!
He grins at me."I thought you would like this."
"I'm speechless!"I giggle again.
He sets the bird down gently with skill, and I realize what a perfect man he truly is, so I tell him so."You are perfect!Did you know that?"
He laughs and rolls his eyes as he takes his helmet off.His halo of hair sways softly as he shakes his head, and I realize that's an unconscious habit he does every time he removes it.He reaches over and flips my visor up, then unstraps my helmet, and I lift it off.I shake my hair out too.Then I giggle because I didn't mean to.It just feels good to do.
"Giggly Thang."He laughs and opens his door, gets out, and walks to mine.His happy face is the most beautiful thing I have seen, and I realize this truth.
His happy face is all I will ever need.
He unlatches my door, pulls it open, then unstraps me.I can't help myself.I launch myself on him.Kissing and sucking and mauling him, tearing at his clothes, ripping at mine.Needing him inside me.Needing him fucking me.Needing him loving me.Needing HIM!NOW!
