I come with him.

Thorus is the next to finish, and his climax prolongs my own. His knot stretches me. His semen floods my bottom with liquid heat.

Finally, Brik unloads into my mouth. His cream spreads across my tongue, sticky and warm. I swallow it down, then draw back gasping as aftershocks of my own orgasm rumble through my body.

“Open,” Brik commands. “Tongue out.”

I open wide for him, and he swipes his tip against my tongue, smudging it with the last dribbles of his seed.

“Good omega.”

He stoops and kisses me on my seed-stained lips.

Then I feel Thorus’s lips brushing against the helix of my ear.

“There is one final thing we must do, little one.”

“I know,” I tell him. “I’m ready.”

Thorus brings his hands around the front of my body and grabs my breasts, holding my body steady. Then he places his teeth on my shoulder, on the side where Brik marked me, but a little lower down.

He bites.

I cry out as his teeth puncture my skin. It hurts, but I savor the pain.

I am marked now. Triply marked by my mates. They are the most amazing alphas I have ever met, and I am the link that holds them together. The bond that joins us can never be broken, not even by death.

As the pain fades, the alphas guide me down onto the carpet of moss covering the dais, and we snuggle together, naked, knotted, and tired. I doze in my alphas’ arms, feeling safe, protected, and adored.

But most of all, I feel complete.

We feel complete.

EPILOGUE

“Mommy, Mommy, wake up!”

The words are whispered directly into my ear, and tiny hands rock me awake. When I open my eyes, I find the room to be completely dark, even though there is a window on the east-facing wall, and our dwelling is on the outskirts of the Central Ruins, where there are no towers to block our view of the sunrise.

“What time is it?” I murmur sleepily.

“It’s time to wake up, Mommy,” Aila whispers. “We’re ’sposed to go hunting with the grandfathers, ’member?”

Oh, yes. Now I remember.

I sit up and blink the sleep out of my eyes. Two of my mates are sleeping next to me, their massive bodies lifting and lowering the bed-furs with every cycle of their lungs. They are protective by nature, and they would both snap awake at the presence of an intruder, but even in their sleep, they know the omega who has just woken me is no threat.

She is my daughter.

My third mate is missing, but I can easily guess where he is. A quick sniff reveals a trace of woodsmoke and boiling porridge. He’s up on the roof preparing breakfast for us.

Thorus always wakes up before anybody else.

Even Aila.

Stifling a groan, I climb out of bed and find my loincloth and top. Then, once I’m dressed, I scoop my daughter in my arms and carry her into the hall.

“Come on,” I say, my voice low. “Let’s see what time it is, shall we?”
