I feel a smirk spread across my face. God, I wish he wasn’t so good at fucking me. That would make it so much easier to hate him all the more. I never could stand his obnoxious arrogance, but he is a good fuck and that alone draws me to him. Well, that’s what I tell myself.

“Now get your clothes on. You’re going to be late.” Hudson’s tone sounds irritated, but I know better. He would love it, if I could stay and fuck all day.

I stand up and put on my black sports bra and spandex shorts with a white t-shirt and grab my things. I go to leave but suddenly I feel a hand wrap itself around my throat.

“Where the fuck do you think you’re going without saying a proper goodbye?” I hear Hudson’s threatening voice in my ear. I quickly turn around and try to give him a peck kiss, but he grabs the back of my head and crushes my lips against his. He shoves his tongue down my throat and I feel myself becoming light headed.

“Make sure you think of me all through practice.”

I roll my eyes, but hide it from him, because I don’t want him to keep me any longer than he already has. I don’t say anything, but thankfully he lets me go and I start my walk across the campus to the gymnasium and the volleyball court.

I see my roommate stretching on the sidelines and run up to join her, setting my bag down beside her.

“Hey Mel!”

“Don’t Hey Mel me like I don’t know where you just were. How was your secret dick appointment?” She’s wiggling her eyebrows at me and I laugh it off.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” I knew I didn’t look disheveled or anything. I had made sure I fixed my ponytail etc. before I came to the gym.

“Yeah, okay, Stevie. When are you going to tell me who this mystery man is that you’re always sneaking off with? I’m supposed to be your best friend! Don’t you think I deserve to know?”

Even though we have only been friends for a year, Melissa and I are very close. I usually don’t let just anyone call me Stevie, because people don’t usually get the nickname. We’re more than just roommates, she’s my best friend. But, even she can’t know about Hudson and me. No one can.

Hudson and I have known each other almost our entire lives, because he’s Sawyer’s best friend. They are, and have always been, inseparable. Hudson’s family has always been rich and, although our family may not have that wealth, our parents have always made sure to make up for that in love and support. My deeply rooted hatred for Hudson started out as simple jealousy and resentment, that he had so much and my family and I had so little. What’s more, Hudson took up almost all of Sawyer’s time. I felt as if I couldn’t even hang out with my own brother, when we were kids, because he was always with his best friend. It just wasn’t fair. Hudson was always so nice to Sawyer and so mean to me, and I just didn’t understand why. Even now that we’re fucking, that hasn’t changed. He literally has everything. I don’t know why he has to be such a jerk.

“Wouldn’t you rather know what happened instead of who it was with?” I try to entice her. She thinks for a moment, then nods eagerly.

I fill her in on all the juicy details of Hudson’s tying me up, the vibrator, the dirty talk, and the endless fucking that we had done, without revealing his name.

“Ugh, how come you get to have all the amazing sex and I get nothing? I want some hot guy to have kinky sex with as well!” Melissa pouts and I laugh. She has no idea that I actually dislike Hudson so goddamned much.

“Someone will come along for you soon, Mel. It’ll catch you entirely off guard, just like mine did!” I say, putting my hand on her shoulder to console her.

“Speaking of surprises, there’s actually something I wanted to talk to you about!”

“Oh yeah? What’s up?” I ask, intrigued.

“I want you to rush a sorority with me!”

“Ugh, come on, Mel. not this again!” I groaned. “You know I don’t want to join a sorority. I’ve seen what it’s been like for Sawyer, and what he had to do even to get into his fraternity. Sororities are just breeding grounds for those with political aspirations and girls who want to marry them. Besides, don’t a lot of weird sexual things happen at rushes? Yeah, It’s not for me. No thanks!”

“Stevie please!”

“I have standards and I know you do, too! I’m just not going to fuck some random guy, and I would hope you wouldn’t want to either!”

I didn’t add why the fuck would I want to waste my time and sexual energy on a guy who definitely wasn’t going to fuck me the way Hudson did. Especially not so I could join some sorority.

“Don’t you want to network with other girls on campus who could have great connections in the outside world? Especially with us being into sports? This could literally make or break our careers. Not to mention the long time friendships that people form in sororities. We could make friends for life! My mom did!”

“I’ve already met my friend for life! You!” I hugged her, trying to turn her away from the subject, even though something told me that she wasn’t going to take no for an answer.

“Come on, Stevie. Pleeeease do this with me!” Mel begged in a little-girl voice.

“Oh good God, okay already! Fine. I’ll do it. But know that I’m not happy about it. I genuinely think this is a bad idea and that it’s going to be a waste of our time. Sororities just seem like trouble to me.”

“Awwww yes! You’re not going to regret this!”

I was so going to regret this…
