Long ago, the King of Vati ordered a decree to cleanse his kingdom: all curse-bearers must die.

My curse silences my voice - not a single sound can pass through my lips. I’m determined to find the prophesied item that can break the wicked spell, and to avoid the King’s Curse Catchers at all costs.

Until Dray finds me.

The Curse Catcher must deliver me to Catcher’s Keep, where the king personally attends each execution. I expect Dray to bring me to the butcher’s block.

Instead, he brings me to my knees.
