Hunter’s Harvest

After my shuttle goes down in the ruins with a shipment of citrus and my trade crew aboard, I wake up with a Xarc’n warrior wrapped around me and purring like a big cat.

Var’n is a seven-foot-tall, muscle-bound Xarc’n warrior who spent years hiding out instead of learning to live with humans.
The plan is simple: talk him into finding my crew, then get us to New Franklin before the Halloween Harvest Haunt.

Too bad his translator is borked. He barely understands me, and he has already decided I’m his to protect. And worse? Var’n’s chest rumbles every time he looks at me. I know what it means, but I’m pretending I don’t. It’s a cruel world out there, and I’ve sworn off relationships to save myself from heartbreak.

But how long can I keep this up when he’s the only warm thing for miles?

A Hunter’s Harvest is a standalone novella set in the Xarc’n Warriors universe, featuring a protective hero who falls first, forced proximity, and a mate bond that refuses to be ignored. This is best read by those already familiar with the series. HEA guaranteed!
