The Lyon Deception

Sinclair falls in love at first sight, but can he reveal his real identity to Cat without her hating him?

Cat MacKenzie will do anything to save her family’s Scottish castle, even marry Sinclair Robertson, the grandson of the man who has laid claim to it. When she travels to London, she hatches a plan and meets with Mrs Dove-Lyon at the Lyon’s Den. Cat will marry Sinclair if he agrees to her terms. But as she’s on her way to confront him, her carriage breaks and a gentleman comes to her rescue, and Cat begins to wonder if true happiness lies in another direction.

Sinclair Robertson, the Master of Armytage, is not a happy man. His grandfather is living his life vicariously through Sinclair, turning him into the London gentleman he always dreamed of being. But Sinclair was brought up as a carpenter like his father, and he misses the simple life and the satisfaction of a nicely turned piece of wood.

When Sinclair and Cat meet it is love at first sight. But Sinclair knows he can’t tell her the truth, that he is the grandson of the man who wants to ruin her family, so he deceives her.

And then things get tricky.
