Two warring wolf packs. One brutal competition to name a leader. Two lone wolf fae adding to the chaos.
Rune and Stone—lone wolf fae, kept alive only by the intervention of the wolf fae goddesses—want no part of either pack, nor the leadership of the packs. They know their competitors would rather see them dead than beat them in the games. But the lone wolves intend to meet every challenge on their own terms, win what can be won, and find their way back to their glens.
Throughout the challenges, the lone wolves struggle to resist their attraction to one another—a bond that, if pursued, could give rise to a third wolf pack, something the goddesses have forbidden.
