I thought I was stopping a burglary.
Yet the moment I laid eyes on this gorgeous young woman, she stole my heart.
Whether I have to buy them or steal them, I do everything in my power to heal weak horses.
It’s what I do, and what I know.
Now it’s a sweet girl who needs food and shelter.
And maybe some gentle persuasion to take some time off before she works herself to death.
Staying at Bone River Ranch could be the best thing for Remy – fresh air, fresh food, and my care and protection. Yet she’s focused on reaching her goals. It’s admirable, but a bit too intense to be healthy.
I just have to make sure her life goals include a rough rancher who can’t stop staring at the light in her eyes, and laughing with her at every opportunity. Can’t keep his hands off her curves, or stop holding her close to hear the way her breathing changes when we’re in my bed.
I already know in my soul that we belong together.
