Mason Harrister was certainly worth losing my wings.
I died. I became an angel. Had a gorgeous set of wings and everything.

Then the Sun Goddess kicked me out of paradise for something I didn’t do. My wings were burned right off my back. I’ve returned to Earth now, but not as a soul in a brand new human body. Instead, I’m in the adult one I had during my last time here in Moon Valley, Vermont. Now have to figure out what comes next.
A help wanted sign draws me to a familiar diner in the small town. I secure a job and a place to stay because that’s what humans who want to survive do. When I step into the diner’s kitchen and meet the chef, however, the ovens aren’t the only thing heating up. Mason Harrister looks even better than I remembered, and the love we shared before I died instantly flares to life again. How do I tell him the truth about where I’ve been? Claiming to have been an angel? He’ll think I’m insane.
But Mason has some secrets of his own. Secrets that show me there’s more than just humans rattling about on this planet. I’m not going to let that stop me from diving back into a relationship with Mason though. We have a second chance and we’re going for it.
