Minotaurs mate for life. Someone really should have mentioned that before I moved into his house.

My parents are drowning in medical debt, and the only job that can save them comes with a catch. Live-in nurse to my Agatha Thornwood, an elderly minotaur with opinions and a penchant for matchmaking.

Oh, and did I mention she’s also my billionaire ex’s grandmother? And that he lives there, too.
I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place, so I don’t really have a choice.

Demetrius is seven feet of black fur, polished horns, and a suit that should file for hazard pay. He glares at me like a hostile takeover and when his gaze slips down to my lips, my heart skips a beat. Every accidental brush of his hand sets off a riot in my bloodstream that I refuse to dignify with a name.

Then one kiss torches all my good intentions of pretending I’m over him. Turns out a grumpy minotaur doesn’t do anything halfway. Not glaring. Not kissing. Definitely not the things he growls against my skin once the lights go out.

I know exactly how this ends, and I still can’t stop turning the pages.
Can a growling minotaur and the sunshine who got away survive round two?
