The Yule Feast

The holidays are a time of joy and merriment, but it seems that fate has something different in store for me. My car not only died on route to my hometown, but it had the gall to do so in the middle of a snowstorm that came out of nowhere. Thank goodness the sound of sleighbells led me to this charming little cabin dressed in holiday cheer. It is occupied by the funniest little spirit who is all too happy to feed me. One Jakfros by name.

Jakfros… Jack Frost… how quaint.

But what if this holiday spirit is more than it seems? What if it is a wintry demon waiting to devour me to gain a taste of the warmth of the season? And just what if I enjoy it? Is Jak my rescuer or my captor, and does my heart care?
