Some secrets should stay buried…

My phone buzzes with an incoming text. Frowning, I glare at the unknown number flashing across my screen.
The message reads,
“Let’s play a little game, Hazel. Truth or Dare…”
A crudely cut Missing Person’s picture has been attached to the message. I zoom in on the grainy details. Her distorted blue eyes stare back at me. Her crooked smile forever slashed across her face. A moment of happiness frozen in time, forever asking to be seen. To be found.
But only I know where to find her.

Ace
Taunting her.
Watching her.
Being close to her.
It all brings me such a rush. Knowing that I have her at my mercy because, I know her secret. And I’ll hang it over her head, making her play my little game of Truth or Dare, until I make her mine.
