Constance and Solomon return to London from their honeymoon – and straight into a very personal mystery. Not one but two bodies are discovered on the doorstep of her “establishment”.
The rich man and the poor one appear to have no connection to each other or to the establishment, and Constance and Solomon suspect the bodies were put there on purpose to discredit her house of ill-repute – a suspicion that appears to be confirmed by other malicious incidents.
