After the passing of my last living relative three weeks ago, it’s time to move on and start a new life in a new town, away from the people who have known me since I was a baby. It’s not that I don’t love my hometown; it just isn’t the same without my Grandma Betty Sue here with me. Plus, I’d like to start a family someday, and the cowboys I’ve grown up with haven’t caught my interest. It’s time I move on to greener pastures and find a cowboy who does.
With my grandmother’s best friends urging me at her Celebration of Life, which they held at the town bar, I end up hooking up with a filthy-talking cowboy for one night. He’s unlike any other guy I’ve ever met—he’s sweet, sexy, and his mouth should be illegal in more ways than one.
Even if I wanted more than one night with him, he made sure that wasn’t in the cards for us.
