She’s the only person in the world that matters to me. The one I put above everything else in my life. It doesn’t matter what I’m up against, I can always count on her to be there for me. She’s my best friend. My confidant. Nothing more. She can never be more. Not because I don’t want to make her mine, but because she deserves better than what I can give her.
I can’t consider him the one that got away because he was never mine. I would’ve given almost anything to claim him even if just for a little bit. He’s the only man I’ve ever cared about. The one I spend my nights dreaming of what our life could be with him by my side as more than a friend. For any of this to happen, I need to convince him we could be good together. I need to show him I’m more than just a friend. I could be his everything.
