Yuletide Acres

I loved him.
He left me.
Sounds like the start of a country song, right?
Wrong. It was the end of the greatest love my heart had ever known.
Even now, ten years later, I still think about him. Is he healthy? Happy? Sexy and delectable? Imagine my surprise when I move to a small mountain town and am greeted by the mayor, aka the love of my life.
To answer that last question, he’s even more gorgeous than I remember.
Oh, and he hates me. At least that’s what I thought…right up until he kissed me, upending any semblance of normalcy in my world.
Who said small towns aren’t as exciting as the big city?
